Technical Services Home
The Technical Services Department provides technical support to all areas of the University. This includes, but is not limited to, desktop PC’s, laptops, net books, tablet’s, printers, networks both wired and wireless, software (MS Windows OS, MS Office, Apple OS), building access systems and smart classrooms. Remote access and diagnostics are done with either Remote desktop or Teamviewer.
The Technical Services Department works closely with and provides guidance and advice to other technical units on campus; Academic computing center, Colleges of Business, Education, Applied and Natural Sciences and Math and Engineering. These areas meet on a semi regular basis to discuss problems and solutions and to keep abreast of activities and problems on-campus.
The Technical Services Department provides support for the University access control system and video surveillance systems.
